Sadly, it only rained and thundered and blew like mad yesterday. No snow; no ice; no need for the Klondikes. But in our imaginations, it was Christmas Town!

Our tree's official name? "Choppy" !

It looks as if you found the best, after careful deliberation.

Oh no! Another job to put on my list of things to do....I've never thought to name our Christmas Tree before...Eek!

I remember the more we used to struggle with the weather, choice of tree, height and weight plus the crowds etc the better it would appear once in its pride of place.
Enjoy your stay Choppy ;D

...and there was me thinking you were off to the wilds to chop down a tree :-)
Like it that you named that tree.
Mine will go back into the garden, so I ought to name it too I suppose :-)

I loved what you wrote, especially alone with everybody else sleeping in the house. Sensibility and delicate atmosphere ! Seems like you think a lot !
P.s. Galllimaufrey comes from the french galimafrée. Nice to have discovered that, and nice name for your blog.
Warmly greetings
