I wasn't there when he took this picture of my little girl. I was far away, about my business.

She was in good hands; I had nothing to worry about and neither did she. But as I perused their pictures months later, I came across this and it stopped me short.

Little girl sits dreaming under great blue sky - and I missed it.


At this very moment, the same child sits chatting with the family in the next room - and I'm missing that.

Off I go. Good night, world.

Allison, a great photo, you're so lucky to live in such a wonderful part of the world. Spring has arrived?
