Like the thought,may have sat on it to ponder the thought.Shooting yesterday I did notice what you may have seen brown in the trees, oaks stay pretty subtle, the softwoods have more color. If you paint, brown is yellow, green and red, so in these brown shades I often find a slight tone.Being more north you may have been passed by peak color.Steve

It's a WWII memorial, if I'm not mistaken.
Now isn't that the sad truth, Allison. Someone always pays in the end.
