I never saw a moor;
I never saw the sea;
Yet know I how the heather
looks,
And what a wave must be.
I never saw the sea;
Yet know I how the heather
looks,
And what a wave must be.
I never spoke with God,
Nor visited in heaven;
Yet certain am I of the spot
As if the chart were given.

Nostalgie...nostalgie...
That is a very nice capture Allison!
North, South. East and West!
pretty!
That is a grand photo. Sending prayers up to heaven, guided by strong and sturdy limbs.
Exquisite!
Ah - thank you! It is beautiful!
Love Emily, a favorite item for me. Great perspective with the photos.
One of my favorite poets! And that picture taken looking up through the branches to the blue sky was gorgeous! Carla
Wonderful view. One good reason to always look up. You never know what you might see.
Wonderful post. I really enjoyed the poem. You always have the best posts. I've had a horrible cold and have not been on the computer a lot this week. Just trying to catch up on all my favorite blogs.
