Bike ride through the fields of what I hope will one day be our home...
as big kids ride off on their own, a harbinger of what the future holds.
Smaller kids stay close by, still needing me to fix a chain or reset gears; the time has come to cherish every moment.
And this is the blue bicycle given to me by my mountain man of a husband... the reason why I can actually bike uphill! He makes sport of snapping pictures as I try to locate the pedals -
"Gee, darling, you're a pro!"
Ahem!

Nice ride with pretty views!
I liked the snack
Our three daughters all ride bikes now - this summer we can ride around together as a family! Thanks for your comment on my blog and for following my EAGAN daily photo blog! I was a teacher at Institut Montana in Zug and have visited my penpal in Liechtenstein many times.

A stunning place you live in,where you and your kids can bike and enjoy the outdoors safely!
Wow. That'll be a beautiful place for your home.
That quite the bike path! And what gorgeous views! I'm impressed how you and your husband are instilling in your children a love of nature and being active. You seem like awesome parents. That's indeed something to cherish and be proud of, even as your kids grow older and ride away on their own.
So beautiful....what an incredible place to ride.
And what a lovely place to have a home...the space is ...Open:)
Yes...I have a place for you to stay so you can come do morning chores....ANYTIME. It would be so much fun....
One day.
Have a lovely bike ride....and hoping you find the pedals;)
Wow Allison, I'm so excited for you. That is going to be an awesome place to live. I need to get the bikes out and try to master the hills here. I fear that I'll be pushing the bike up some of them.
A very nice trail to ride. A friend wanted to ride over the weekend ,but i was gone all weekend, and it was too cold I felt. You must have toe clips making it harder.
Go Allison!
Have a nice smooth ride :)
Lovely family life!
J'aime bien ton vélo! Il me semble, ou il y a vraiment un panier sur le garde-boue arrière? Tu pourras ainsi aller acheter ton pain et ton lait frais en vélo. Il y a plusieurs dames de ton futur village qui font cela. Coooooool !
Oh, there's your sweet green spring hill riding shots! Lovely analogy for parenting too. I hope the house efforts are going well. :)
Such a beautiful place to ride...& build your home! I have to figure out how to get our bikes on that plane!!
And yes! Please send me the pic of your easter decor!! I'd love to see what you picked up while you were here :)
Hehe, you have a wise crackin' husband too! They love to tease. I hope you do have your house on that beautiful land - soon!
Now all that's needed is a little hobbit house with a round door and a smaller hobbit house across the lane with a garden tucked in the corner for an auntie. Round doors and second breakfasts a must!
What a beautiful place to raise your family. I bet you do just fine on your bike.
What a great place for a ride and a home.
Looks like a wonderfull trip! Thanks for your comment on my blog. My mother made a trip to Haarlem by the way, not so long ago, to see the museum/ house of Corry ten Boom. She enjoyed it a lot. I pass Hilversum daily but never really make a visit, to enter the city by car is horrible. But I know it is from historical point of view worth a visit.. :)
Very good info. Lucky me I recently found your website by accident (stumbleupon).
I've book marked it for later!
