Secret garden door ... of the heart.

The someone living on the other side once wrote:

Trust is meaningless – why do you insist?
There is no truth in trust,
No definition that can stand
Against the word in action

Delusion would work better – you ought to know
Mirrored room, illusion
Heart on drugs
I do not believe a word you say.

Where, pray, is the key to that door?

I don't know where the key is, but I sure would like to see what is on the other side. Carla

Lovely thoughts today Allison. One I saw earlier is, "It is easy to fall in love, but a pursuit to stay in love."Perhaps it is on that other side.

"word in action" is so true. Words are nothing with out the action. Thanks for making me ponder this morning :) (I bet that door has one of those cool old keys too!)

The Secret Garden was one of my favorite books as a youngster. As I get older I find it harder to trust other people... perhaps, I, too, have lost the key. Accepting the simple joy of living things has helped ground me and be open from time to time. Thank you for this post.
