A chapel sits beside the inn, housing an intricate scale model of Lucelle's once thriving monastery. Naturally, we had to go inside!

Three stained glass windows reminded me of some of the images Randy has been posting from Santa Fe. http://santafedailyphoto.blogspot.com/ (I'm sorry... I don't know how to paste a real link. Help, anyone?).

:)

Can you identify the saints? I would love to know who they are.

And then we golfed ... in the courtyard just adjacent to the holy sanctuary. Have I told you how much I love France?

Lovely windows. I don't know who the saints are but I do know how to post a link.

Open a window and go to the page you want to link. Highlight the URL and copy it by right clicking. Go to your new post. There is a link button up by the picture button. It will bring up a box to paste the URL in. That's it. Easy.

France looks amazing.

i was going to guess benedictine on that one too. but i don't know the others at all.

one more hint to the lin to add to kim's - before you click to add the link, highlight a word in your post like 'click HERE', then add the link and you'll have it embedded into whatever word you highlighted.

Those are so pretty. The glass always amazes me....and I've always wanted one piece in my house somewhere.
Then again...I have always wanted a golf course next door too;))

the third one looks like a portrait of the Virgin Mary with some sheppard (maybe Fatima?)

Sounds like you are having fun in France. I have always wanted to go there. I think putting beauty over practicality is a great idea... I should do that more. Carla

I think one of them is St Bernard of Clairvaux. What a lovely place, even if it is a worrisome place for little people to golf! I often choose beauty over practicality myself....

Your right, those windows are amazing and the faces are very similar. Stained glass windows are such wonderful pieces of art. I want to go to France one day.
