One of the greatest benefits of having open walls in the kitchen is how utterly close you are to all that moves and flits outdoors.


Today this robin came to nibble her little seeds - and watch us nibble ours. I'm beginning to feel like texwisgirl...

How nice to have Robins, ours have gone south on vacation and won't be returning to this part of Canada until the end of April. Wonderful wrought iron fence.

Yes! I love seeing the birds and butterflies hop around our yard! It's such a wonderful thing, and I'm glad you get to enjoy nature from inside your home. :)
