I was walking with a friend when she stopped and picked up a fossil along the way. My darling biker looked at it, longingly. Could those really be shell markings from ancient sea creatures?

Without flinching, she handed her the fossil and launched my daughter on a quest that would fill her pockets five pounds deep!

A small act of kindness that to the heart means oceans of love.

It was something organic it looks. Things like this create dreams, and large collections of rocks.

That is so cool! I love finding fossils and used to collect rocks when I was little. What a great friend you have.

... and kindness etched in the stone of fossils can last even longer into eternity.
