I approached these beautiful geese at a friend's house but they turned around in one group movement and waddled away from me.

I knelt down. Come back!

But alas, a species protects its own. And the question begs ... is humanity as wise?

WhenI have watched geese their conflicts are settled quickly and with the minimum of violence.Man has forgot that mode, and then we say we are the more intelligent creature.

Geese get pretty upset if separated from their flock. Protection in numbers, I guess.

They're so pretty! I've always thought geese had a sort of majestic quality to them. Too bad they're horribly cranky.
