My eldest made homemade meringues yesterday before she left for school, and they baked slowly in the oven all the afternoon long as I labored at the computer, enveloped by their tasty scent emerging from the kitchen... torture, I say!
She had pity on me later on and let me try ... one! :)

They look good!
I like this image as well, the bit of green and blue
Pretty!
Have a lovely day Allison :)
They look delicious!
They look yummy! I'll bet they were. Carla
A nice change of pace -- they look like little garlic cloves to me. Go figure! :)
Closest I've had was lemon meringue pie. These look good but I have no idea what meringue actually is?
An army of gnomes trapped in blue sand! :) Can't say I've ever had a meringue either (besides topping on a lemon pie...)
Oh, how generous of her! ;) They look very tasty indeed. Have a wonderful day, my friend.
lovely little treats, I would have snuck one early
Oh my Allison, those meringues look delicious! I would not have been able to endure that smell all afternoon, would have stole a couple, maybe all of them!!!!
Those are one of our favorite cookies! Only we made them with rasberry jello mix as well. We called them "pink cookies" as kids. Mom always makes them at xmas. I've started making them at home with the girls too, but for some reason my moms always taste better :)
They look like heaven!
I'm with Out on the Prairie.....I would have snuck...a few;)
Oh yum! I've never made those, would you care to share the recipe? :)))
Allison, you deserved at least one after being tortured all day by the tempting aroma wafting through the air and coming to rest right under your nose.
hugs,
Pam
