I couldn't resist begging hubby to pull over for this shot. We actually took a 10 minute detour just to snap it! This...in my book... is just one too many gnomes.

Still, in a very unexpected and fiercely terrible way ... they make me smile!

I don't know what it is about gnomes, they do bring a smile....

At least these seem to be somewhat vintage and cute in their own right -- some of the newer, cheaper gnomes made in China are atrocious!

Fun photos! I'm glad you took the time to snap them and share with us. :)

I looks a bit like Snow White and the Dwarves gone wild!

Obviously, they make SOMEONE happy!! And it DID put a smile on your face, so they served their purpose. That's quite a collection! I'm glad you shared. ~karen

My sis-in-law just said (in French) that she once saw a gnome that was set in front of someone's front door and he was... flipping her off! :)

ha ha! could you be made at a gnome that was flipping you off? i think not!

those are a bit of a crowd, but they're cute!

That is a few. They have pills to help with obsessions.Sometimes people keep getting someone the same gifts thinking they are helping with a collection, not an obsession.

Aren't those garden gnome liberationists still around? This should be a primary target for them!

Allison, they make me smile too. In fact, just last week I purchased my first gnome. He is bright in color and pushing a wheelbarrow, and each time I pass him I ask "how much work did you get done last night". :)
PS: Isn't it wonderful that we saw the same moon that night across the wide pond?
