Knitting mittens to pass the time while sick with the flu.

There are disadvantages to being sick, but there are definite upshots to it, too! One of those being lots of time to sit or lie on the couch with an excuse to either do nothing or knit or watch the end of Lord of the Rings (!).

Today, however, is Monday - which means not a minute of respite. The peaceful feel of yarn in my hands while children play Monopoly and the Russian watches the news is a distant memory.

But ah! T'was sweet indeed!

A bientôt

I, too, was wondering how you took the picture of both your hands. LOTR is great for watching when you're not feeling well. May you have a good week!

And... have a great week!

May you get well soon the better to enjoy all these things you're enjoying now ... knitting, watching Lord of the Rings, or just sitting and thinking ... even on a Monday.

I hope you don't have to work too hard today and can push it off a bit. I love that your kids play Monopoly! My sis and I would spend hours/days completing a game. She is 4 yrs older than me and would always win. She'd prolong the torture by lending me money to get me further and further into debt, just to watch me lose longer. :)

Feel better, dear!

Allison, it sounds as though you are feeling better for the sense of humor is there; "thankfully", she mutters. ;)

Now that's what I should have done while I was a a bit under the weather... finish some knitting. Be well!
